When you sign up to take part in the Franchisee Storytelling Platform trial, the information you provide – your name, email address, restaurant, any personal details in stories that you submit – may be used to:
- register you for and administer the trial;
- provide you with access to the platform;
- test, develop and improve the platform;
- contact you with information and updates relating to the trial;
- provide support where required; and
- collect feedback about your experience.
We process your personal data where it is in our legitimate interests for the evaluation, development and improvement of the Franchisee Storytelling Platform.
Your personal data will only be used for the purposes stated above.
Your information will be handled securely and in accordance with applicable data protection law. Where necessary for the purposes described above it may be shared with McDonald’s and the organisations supporting the operation and development of the Franchisee Storytelling Platform.
Your information will be retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes of running and evaluating the trial and in accordance with McDonald’s data retention policies.
